This was a behind-the-scenes piece for the 2019 Christmas program at Shades Mountain Baptist Church. The concept was to create a Christmas village so big, you felt like could actually live there. Over the week that it took us to build and film the village, I shot behind-the-scenes photos and turned them into time-lapse sequences, which became the inspiration point for “Waiting Is An Art.” I wanted to tie the anticipation we feel when we watch these time-lapses with the anticipation we feel each year at Advent.
